At Voice for Change, we believe in the power of stories to drive action. Our platform exists to inspire, connect, and empower individuals and organizations committed to social impact, sustainability, and innovation. These Community Guidelines are designed to ensure that every member of our community contributes in a respectful, safe, and impactful way.

1. Purpose and Scope

What is Voice for Change?

Voice for Change is a video-first platform where individuals and organizations come together to create, share, and support content that promotes positive change aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We believe in education before enforcement. Our guidelines are shared through onboarding tutorials, friendly reminders, help center resources, and email updates — so that every voice can rise responsibly.

What You Can Do

Registered users can:

  • Create personal and organizational profiles
  • Post updates (text, photo, video) to the public feed
  • Upload videos and create playlists
  • Launch fundraising campaigns
  • Submit a 3-minute video for entry into a Voice for Change competition (if and when eligible to do so)
  • Like, comment on, and share content
  • Follow other users and organizations
  • Vote on competition entries using free or paid vote blocks
  • Donate to social causes featured on the platform

All content must be relevant to social innovation, sustainability, or community impact. By uploading content, you agree to our Terms of Service and these Guidelines.

Where Content Is Shared

By uploading to voiceforchange.com, you grant CI Media (CI Media Co., Ltd., CI Media Inc., and CI Media Corp), its official partners and subsidiaries, the global rights to use your content on the platform and across our official social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X, as well as in press materials and public relations campaigns.

2. Content Guidelines

Originality and Intellectual Property

  • All content must be original or used with proper rights.
  • Plagiarism or unauthorized use of copyrighted content is strictly prohibited.
  • By uploading, you confirm you have full legal rights and assume responsibility for your content.

Accuracy and Reliability

  • Share truthful, verified information.
  • Avoid spreading misinformation, particularly on sensitive social issues.

Respect and Inclusion

  • No hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content.
  • Celebrate diversity and encourage respectful dialogue.

Safety and Security

  • Do not promote violence, illegal activities, or unsafe behavior.
  • Content that endangers individuals will be removed.

Advertising and Promotion

  • Self-promotion is allowed when it aligns with social impact and community relevance.
  • Content must not be irrelevant, misleading, or spam.
  • Voice for Change reserves the right to remove inappropriate content and block violators without notice.
  • CI Media assumes no liability for failed partnerships or investments formed through the platform.

3. Community Engagement and Participation

Respectful Interaction

  • Engage with kindness, curiosity, and open-mindedness.
  • Personal attacks and inflammatory language are not tolerated.

Reporting Violations

  • Every post includes a "Report" feature.
  • Reports are reviewed within 48 hours.
  • Users may receive warnings, suspensions, or bans depending on severity.

Moderation Process

  • Violations are categorized into Tier 1 (Minor), Tier 2 (Moderate), or Tier 3 (Severe).

  • Users may appeal decisions using our Appeals Form.

Feedback and Suggestions

  • Submit ideas via our Community Feedback Hub.
  • Participate in polls, join advisory circles, or email us at feedback@voiceforchange.com.

Voice for Change enforces its community standards through a consistent, tiered moderation system. Violations may result in warnings, suspensions, or permanent removal from the platform. All actions are documented, and appeals are welcome in cases of disagreement. Our aim is to maintain a safe and respectful space for everyone.

4. Incentives and Recognition

Participation Rewards

  • Enter the Voice for Change competition and gain international exposure.
  • Earn digital badges, spotlight features, and access to mentorship Q&As.
  • Sponsored prizes may include vouchers, services, or merchandise.

Credit and Attribution

  • All content will credit the creator (unless anonymity is requested).
  • Creator names and campaign titles will be displayed on shared videos.

5. Legal and Compliance

Terms of Use

  • All content is subject to our Terms of Service.
  • Guidelines align with international digital content laws.

Copyright & Liability

  • Users are responsible for ensuring they have full legal rights to any content submitted.
  • CI Media holds no liability for user-uploaded content that violates copyright laws.

Data Privacy

  • Voiceforchange.com follows GDPR standards.
  • Data protection complies with Singapore's PDPA and Thailand's PDPA.

6. Communication & Enforcement

Ongoing Education

  • New users must complete onboarding tutorials.

Contest-Specific Guidelines

  • Each competition has its own entry rules and judging criteria.
  • Read them carefully before submitting your video.

AI and Deepfakes Policy

  • AI-generated content must be clearly labeled.
  • Deepfakes and misleading synthetic media are not allowed.
